  • We're seeking a Director to lead our OPWDD day programs in Rockland County, NY. This role is central to our mission of providing innovative and compassionate services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). You will oversee the operation of our pre-vocational program for adults, day habilitation program, and after-school respite program for youth with I/DD.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities

- Ensure the effective delivery of our pre-vocational, day habilitation, and respite services.

- Manage program budgets and resources effectively

- Supervise and support program staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities

- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated service delivery

- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development within OPWDD field

- Strong administrative skills, including budgeting and resource management

- Knowledge of behavioral health and social work principles and practices

- Proven experience in managing and supervising staff

- Demonstrated ability in program management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation

- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
